The duvet needs a clean but cannot find a big enough washing machine? Bring it to us, we can handle the biggest of duvets. Or we can come collect it from you and deliver it back freshly cleaned. Subject to minimum order of £30.

What Are We About?

We are a local family business with over 60 years’ experience in the garment care and laundry industry.

We are delighted with our new and modern facility on Anlaby Road which opened in 2018. Zip Dry Cleaners now allows us to offer the highest quality services in a responsible way.

Zip is the first in the region, and one of the first in the UK to use Sensene, a new, greener, cleaner and more efficient dry-cleaning solvent. Unlike traditional dry-cleaning solvents, Sensene is a non-hazardous substance and is biodegradable. Perchlorethylene or ‘PERC’, which is used by 80% of traditional dry cleaners’, is not only a hazardous and non-biodegradable substance, it has been banned in France and California following links to ill health and cancers. We are proud to bring to the people of Hull a far safer, greener and fresher dry-cleaning service.

However, we are far more than just about quality dry-cleaning. We work with inhouse and other experts to offer a full range of services at the highest quality. Including leathers and handbags, antique garments, alterations and repairs, anything you can imagine to get your clothes, curtains, sofas looking their best. And even for the most special of events, we also offer expert wedding, bridesmaids’ and prom dress cleaning and press service.

We also offer laundry and dry cleaning services to local businesses. We provide laundry services for restaurants, hotels, service apartments, hairdressers and spas. Whatever laundry service your business needs, we can provide and more!
